Propark’s Claims and Employee Relations Manager, Christopher Mendes, author of the rejection letter, verbally verified that cars parked on the streets of Newark have the same level of “care, custody and control” as cars that are parked in the Jiffy lot. However, the camera at the entrance verified that my window arrived intact. Friendly staff, clean vehicles and fast pickup in the lot and at the airport. The Account Manager at the Newark Jiffy stated they have absolutely no idea what happened to my truck because they do not have surveillance of the lot. Since Jiffy is a self-park facility, all vehicle owners should know in advance that Jiffy has zero expectations for care, custody, control, or responsibility of/for the vehicles parked there. Jiffy even refused to refund their parking fee. I’ll include a photo of the rejection letter, if possible. Newark Airport could lose its 'NYC' status.
